Stretch Tents
Flexible, elegant canopies for outdoor events, weddings and celebrations.

A stretch tent is a single piece of grey canvas, tensioned above your event on poles and fixings, to give you a covered space that feels open on the inside and completely sheltered from the weather. No centre poles through your tables, no marquee walls closing the view in — just soft, flowing canvas that catches the light all day.
It covers the occasions a bell tent alone can't: a wedding breakfast for everyone, a birthday in the garden, a festival weekend, a work day outdoors, or a wet-weather plan nobody has to apologise for. Set it over dining, a bar, a dance floor or a lounge and your guests stay together whether the sun holds or not.
Because the canvas is tensioned rather than built, the shape is ours to agree with you. Low and intimate above the tables, high and vaulted over a dance floor, or swept along a wall, a hedge line or a tree — tell us the feel you're after and we'll confirm what's possible in the quote.
Ways it can be set up
One tent, many shapes
The canvas is tensioned rather than built, so the shape follows the occasion and the ground. These are the setups we reach for most.
Fully open canopy
All sides tied back so the breeze moves through and the views stay. Our favourite for a warm day, a ceremony or a covered lounge where the scenery is part of the decor.
Part-enclosed
One or two sides dropped to block the wind or the driving rain while the rest stays open. The sensible middle ground for a British summer — sheltered, never boxed in.
Fully enclosed
Every side lowered for privacy, warmth and full weather protection. Works well as a rain plan, a late-night room, or a quiet space for younger guests and napping toddlers.
Peaked and vaulted
The canvas pulled high at one or more points to lift the ceiling and add real drama. Extra headroom above a dance floor or the top table, with the fabric sweeping down around you.
Swept and curved
Several anchor points shape the canvas into flowing curves and scalloped edges that frame a tree, a doorway or a view, rather than sitting as a flat roof over the lawn.
Over dining and the bar
Set low and close above long tables, a buffet or a drinks bar, so plates, glasses and guests all stay dry and the service keeps running.
Linked tents and walkways
A stretch canopy can run between tents or from ceremony to reception, giving guests a covered route across the site when the ground is soft.
Dressed for the evening
Once the sun drops, the canvas becomes the backdrop — draped fabric, lanterns and festoon lighting layered in for the late part of the night.
